Custom Pendant Price Guide: What It Actually Costs in 2026

"How much does a custom pendant cost?" is the question we hear most. The honest answer is: it depends — but not in a vague way. The price is driven by a few specific factors, and once you understand them, the number makes sense.

What Drives the Price

Four things move the cost of any custom pendant:

  • Metal and karat — 925 silver costs less than 10k gold, which costs less than 14k, and so on. More metal (a heavier, larger piece) means more cost.
  • Size and weight — a palm-sized pendant uses far more material than a small charm.
  • Stones — moissanite, lab diamond, or natural; the count and quality drive cost as much as the metal does.
  • Detail and labor — hand-engraving, multi-layer builds, and intricate settings take more bench time.

The Three Tiers

We build custom pendants in three tiers so there's an entry point at every budget. Each one is quoted per piece — these describe the kind of work that lives at each level, not a fixed price.

Foundation Tier

A clean, solid custom pendant. Your design, built in 925 silver or 10k gold, with no stones or minimal accent stones. The right starting point for a first custom piece, and the most accessible way to own something made specifically for you.

Signature Tier

A larger or more detailed build, higher karat options, and a moderate stone count. This is where most custom pendant orders land — enough size and detail to make the piece a statement without going to the top of the range.

Flagship Tier

A statement piece. Full custom build, premium metal, heavy stone-setting, and the kind of detail that makes a pendant a centerpiece. This is the top of what we do, built for clients who want no compromises.

Why We Quote Per Piece

Because no two custom pendants are the same, every quote is built from your actual design. We'll give you a firm number at the consultation — not a guess, and not a surprise at pickup.
